Belgian court releases Puigdemont, other Catalonian officials

The Belgian court system released the former president of the Catalonian regional government, Carles Puigdemont, and four of his former cabinet members on certain conditions after hearings held in Brussels at the Office of the Attorney General.


A Belgian judge released Puigdemont and his colleagues but forbade them from leaving the country, required them to provide an address in Belgium where they will be residing and ordered them to personally attend each of the hearings to which they are called.
