The Donetsk leader pointed out that shelling attacks were the most pressing issue for the DPR. The president responded by saying that "the mission of all our military units, including those of the Defense Ministry and volunteers, is to make sure that there are no more shelling attacks."
The head of state also noted that "almost all the main issues were discussed" at a meeting of the Russian Security Council on Wednesday. However, in Putin’s words, it was agreed to hold a separate meeting with Pushilin "on the issues that specifically concern the Donetsk [People’s] Republic."
On April 5, the president chaired a Russian Security Council meeting, which addressed efforts to ensure the rule of law, order and public security in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. [TASS]
