Data Show That Russia Has Nothing To Do With Missile Incident In Poland , Biden denied that the rocket belonged to Russia

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that according to available data, Russia was not involved in the missile incident in Poland.

"It is important for us that Russia said: 'We have nothing to do with it.' In addition, (German Chancellor Olaf) Scholz said at our morning meeting that this incident should be investigated in detail.

It is also important that (US President Joe) Biden denied that the rocket belonged to Russia," Erdogan told reporters on the G20 sidelines.

A number of NATO countries discussed the incident and came to the conclusion that it has nothing to do with Russia, the president said.

  1. A NATO military plane was able to track the trajectory of a missile that fell on the territory of Poland on Tuesday, CNN reported.

    "Intel with the radar tracks [of the missile] was provided to NATO and Poland," the channel quoted a NATO military official as saying.

    The aircraft was performing a routine surveillance flight near the territory of Ukraine, the report says.

  2. US President Joe Biden in earlier remarks said it is unlikely based on trajectory that the missile that fell in Poland was fired from Russia, but that the United States and allies will support Poland's investigation into the incident.
