Damaged Nord Stream pipeline will take a year to fix, says head of Gazprom

Alexei Miller, head of Russian natural gas company Gazprom, said that the damaged Nord Stream pipelines would take at least a year and that Russia had still not been granted access to the area of damage.

Speaking at the Russian Energy Week conference in Moscow, Miller also echoed a call made by President Vladimir Putin that Russia could redirect supplies intended for the damaged Nord Stream pipelines to a new European gas hub in Turkey.
