Kherson hotel attacked on tip-off by NATO, say law enforcement authorities

The Ukrainian military attacked a hotel in the center of Kherson using the intelligence and on tip-off by NATO representatives, a source in the region’s law enforcement authorities told TASS on Sunday.

"The hotel was attacked clearly with the help of NATO representatives, using their intelligence and on their tip-off," he said. The administration of the Kherson Region called the hotel attack Ukraine’s planned terrorist act. "The missile attack on the hotel is a planned terrorist act," the administration said in a statement.

Media representatives were at the hotel in the center of Kherson attacked by the Ukrainian armed forces early in the morning, the administration of the Kherson Region said in a statement on Sunday. "The administration of the Kherson Region reports that today at around 5:30 am the Ukrainian armed forces carried out a missile strike at the building of Play Hotel by Ribas, in which there were media representatives," according to the statement released by the administration via its Telegram channel.

As a result of the attack, according to preliminary data, two people were killed, among them Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) of the fifth and sixth calling Alexey Zhuravko, according to confirmed information. All casualties have been taken to Kherson hospitals.
