Swedish, Finnish top diplomats invited to NATO’s informal foreign ministerial meeting - TASS

An informal meeting of the NATO countries’ foreign ministers with the participation of the top diplomats from Finland and Sweden will take place in Berlin on May 14-15, German Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Andrea Sasse told a briefing on Wednesday.

"On Saturday and on Sunday, there will be a meeting of the alliance’s foreign ministers at the invitation of Foreign Minister [of Germany Annalena] Baerbock and NATO Secretary General [Jens] Stoltenberg," she said.

"The foreign ministers of Sweden and Finland will take part in the meeting in the evening of the first day," Andrea Sasse said. She also expressed the opinion that the upcoming meeting was aimed at enhancing the political role of NATO.
