Behrooz Kamalvandi told YJC that the accident happened in part of the electricity network of ‘Ahmadi Roshan’ nuclear enrichment facility in Natanz on Saturday morning.
The accident has not resulted in any casualties or contamination, he added.
Investigations are underway to ascertain the cause of the incident, the spokesman noted.
In July 2020, a blast happened at Natanz nuclear facility in the central province of Isfahan. Official described that incident as an act of sabotage.

“Kamalvandi said fortunately the incident has not caused any human damage or contamination,” a state TV anchorperson said. “The cause of the incident is under investigation.
The word state television used in its report attributed to Kamalvandi in Farsi also can be used for “accident.”
The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, the civilian arm of its nuclear program, later published a statement using the same wording as the TV report, without elaborating....VOA
