Syrians in Hasaka, Deir Ez-Zur Call for Expulsion of US, Turkish Occupation Forces - Tasnim News Agency

Residents of the Syrian cities of Hasaka and Qamishli rallied on Sunday afternoon in protest against QSD siege, calling for the entry of food materials and medicine as well as demanding the expulsion of the US and Turkish occupation forces from the country.

The people gathered in front of the Justice Palace in the center of Hasaka province despite the prevailing bad weather conditions, according to SANA.

The US occupation-backed QSD militia tried to disperse the demonstration by firing live bullets at the citizens, claiming the life of one civilian and wounding three others.

The citizens condemned the siege imposed on the city center of Hasaka for 19 days and raised banners calling for the end of the unjust siege imposed on the city.

Locals of Sour town in Deir Ez-Zur countryside also protested against the kidnapping of a number of their children by QSD militants.

Meanwhile, residents of Sour town in Deir Ez-Zur countryside went out to streets to demonstrate against the arbitrary practices of QSD militia who kidnapped a number of young men to force them to fight with its ranks.

On Jan. 4, the QSD militia raided the towns of Abu Khashab, al-Shahil and al-Ezbeh in Deir Ez-Zur eastern and northern countryside, kidnapped nineteen civilians and took them to unknown destinations.
