Kiev may be held accountable for MH17 incident — Dutch foreign minister

Kiev may be held accountable for MH17 incident
The Netherlands does not rule out the possibility of holding Kiev accountable for the flight MH17 crash in eastern Ukraine in 2014, Dutch Foreign Minister Stef Blok was quoted as saying after debates in the country’s parliament on Thursday.

The Het Parool newspaper quoted the minister as saying that the option remained on table, although the Hague had "no solid legal basis" for bringing Kiev to responsibility so far.

"It is too early to make any steps in this direction" he said. "However, I do not rule out any variant."

    1. Dutch Foreign Minister Stef Blok said he was surprised by the statement of Malaysia’s Transport Minister Anthony Loke on the lack of convincing evidence of Russia's responsibility for the downing of the Malaysian Boeing in the east of Ukraine, the Telegraaf newspaper reported...

Blok drew attention to the fact that the minister had been appointed only recently.
"If you are a minister, you receive a lot of information. We are working closely with Malaysia, this country has all the data, so this statement seems strange to me, too," he said.
Blok also promised to contact his new Malaysian counterpart as soon as he is appointed.
