At least six people died as a consequence of violent storms that on Sunday continued to ravage central and northeastern Italy, the firefighting service reported.
The area most affected, where all six deaths occurred, was the northern port city of Livorno and the nearby town Montenero, on the Tuscan coast, where the storm arrived after hitting Liguria, a region in the north that was on red alert.
