19 killed in explosion at Manchester Arena

Nineteen people have died and around 50 others were injured in an explosion, which is being treated as a terrorist incident, during a pop concert at Manchester Arena.

Greater Manchester Police said in a statement: "This is currently being treated as a terrorist incident until police know otherwise."

Witnesses reported hearing a "huge bang" at the venue shortly after US singer Ariana Grande's gig finished at around 10.30pm yesterday evening.
