At least 36 people were killed when a plane crashed in Pakistan on Wednesday, reported the Pakistani National Disaster Management Authority.
Ahmed Kamal, spokesman for the NDMA, told EFE the plane was completely destroyed and it was unlikely there would be any survivors.
The Army's communication office said around 500 soldiers and doctors were participating in rescue efforts, which were ongoing.
The plane was traveling between Chitral in northern Pakistan and Islamabad and had 48 people on-board, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority said.
