The four-year battle for the Syrian city of Aleppo appears to be nearing an end, with government forces taking control.
People in the last terror/rebel-held parts of the east of the city have taken to social media to post their wills and say goodbye to their families, expecting to die.
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has voiced alarm "over reports of atrocities against a large number of civilians" in the city.
Terror/rebels withdrew from all districts on the east side of the Aleppo river yesterday afternoon after losing the Sheikh Saeed district in the south of their pocket in overnight fighting, the so-called "Syrian Observatory for Human Rights" said.
