Moscow expects the incoming British government to formulate an independent strategy regarding Russia, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Thursday.
"We could at least expect that the new cabinet would refresh their vocabulary about Russia, just for the sake of diversity. But this has not happened so far," Zakharova told reporters commenting on the recent statements made by the new British Prime Minister, Theresa May.
She hoped that the new British cabinet will be more creative and resourceful "when developing their own strategy" instead of "using what their predecessors left over."
