The United States and France supported Israel after the terrorist attack in tel Aviv

The US state Department soon after the attack in tel-Aviv center «Saron» was a terrorist act, issued a formal statement in which it was said: «the United States in the strongest terms condemn today’s horrific terrorist attack in tel Aviv. We Express our deepest condolences to the families of those killed and hopes for a quick recovery of the wounded. Such cowardly attacks on innocent civilians cannot be justified».

 With words of support were made by the French President Francois Hollande condemned the «abhorrent terrorist attack in tel Aviv». Kancelaria of the President was distributed on his behalf a statement in which France expressed condolences to the bereaved families and announced «full support of Israel’s struggle against terrorism.»

The press service of the United Nations issued a statement that UN Secretary General ban Ki-moon shocked by the fact that the leaders of Hamas welcomed the terrorist attack in tel Aviv and even staged a celebration on this occasion, the Associated Press reports. The UN Secretary General called on the Palestinian authority to honor its obligations, speaking out against violence and incitement.

The head of the PNA Mahmoud Abbas has not yet condemned the attack in tel Aviv.

  1. Israël a annoncé jeudi suspendre les permis d'entrée dont 83.000 Palestiniens bénéficient à l'occasion du ramadan, au lendemain de la mort de quatre personnes dans un attentat commis par deux Palestiniens la veille à Tel-Aviv...

    "Tous les permis délivrés pour le ramadan, en particulier les permis destinés aux visites familiales (pour les Palestiniens) en provenance de Judée-Samarie sont gelés. (...) 83.000 permis sont donc gelés", a indiqué le COGAT, l'organe chargé de coordonner les activités israéliennes dans les Territoires palestiniens.

    La Judée-Samarie est le nom par lequel le gouvernement israélien désigne la Cisjordanie, territoire palestinien occupé. (Belga)
