Syria: Hasaka locals reject US troops entering Remeilan, express solidarity with Aleppo

Public and social activities in the northeastern city of Hasaka staged a stand in condemnation of the American aggression represented by entering 150 US troops to Remeilan in the countryside of Qamishli city.

Earlier on April 28th, a foreign ministry source expressed Syria’s strong condemnation of entering 150 US troops into Rmeilan area dismissing it as a “blatant act of aggression that constitutes a dangerous intervention and a gross violation of the Syrian sovereignty.”

Participants, raising national flags and placards denouncing the illegal presence of the US troops in Hasaka, affirmed that the existence of such troops does not differentiate from the existence of any terrorist groups which should be expelled out of the country.

Hasaka Governor Mohamad Za’al al-Ali said the stand of Hasaka people is a confirmation that the existence of such troops in Remeilan means a conspiracy against Syrian people, who refuse to let those who supported terrorism against their country to have their troops on Syrian soil.

On the other hand, Hasaka youths staged a solidarity stand with the people of Aleppo who are being targeted by terrorists for the last days where tens of civilians were killed and injured.

Participants affirmed that Syrians are united against terrorism, expressing confidence that Syria will achieve victory thanks to its people and army sacrifices.
