The Russian Foreign Ministry called nonsense information about the negotiations on federalization in Syria

Appeared in the media information about the discussion of Russia and West of federalization in Syria is not true, said the presidential envoy for the Middle East and North Africa, Deputy foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, on Saturday, March 12, according to TASS.

Bogdanov stressed that Moscow proceeds from the fact that “it is best to preserve the unity of territory and people. “We are not interfering in it and does not defined its position,” he added.

Earlier in the media appeared information with reference to close to UN diplomatic sources about the alleged discussion of Russia and a number of Western countries the issue of federalization of Syria as a way of preserving the territorial integrity of this country.
