Talks on Syria are to begin on Jan 25 as scheduled initially — UN secretary-general

Negotiations on Syria's political future are to begin on January 25 as it was scheduled initially, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon told reporters on Thusday. 


He recalled that the negotiations were to be held this month in line with a resolution of the UN Security Council and he urged all the parties to the conflict to display flexibility and the sense of compromise.
