Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has said he signed a deal he does not believe in but is willing to implement it and try to carry out his political responsibilities over a four-year term.
"I assume responsibility for all mistakes I may have made, I assume responsibility for a text I do not believe in, but which I signed to avoid disaster for the country, the collapse of the banks," he said in an interview on Greek public television on the eve of a key parliament vote on the reforms.
Mr Tsipras also said he believed the 5 July referendum would have helped Greece seal a better deal and not put the country’s euro membership at risk......http://www.rte.ie/news/2015/0714/714601-greece/
