In a statement on the miltiary's official Facebook page, spokesman Mohamed Samir said that military campaigns in the cities of Arish, Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid targeted alleged militant hideouts.

Forces damaged some 51 locations used for terrorist refuge and operations planning, the statement said, as well as 34 vehicles and 96 motorcycles.
