Foreign Ministry spokesperson Konstantinos Koutras made the following statement in response to journalists’ questions regarding today’s articles on statements from German Minister of State for Europe Michael Roth concerning the issue of German war reparations and the occupation loan:
“Greece’s positions are well known. Greece has stated them to the Federal Republic of Germany on all state and political levels, and for the time being we are awaiting the findings of the Parliament’s Inter-party Committee and the opinion of the Plenary of the Legal Council of the State.”
