Meanwhile, militia forces in the south-east of Ukraine continue the military-humanitarian operation.
Near the village of Yasinovataya, a unit of Ukrainian battalion "Shahtersk" was destroyed. In addition, security forces of Ukraine were forced to leave the settlements of Signalnoye, Blagodatnoye, Radchansky and Vakhrushevo. In Amvrosievka, militia forces captured two tanks and three self-propelled guns with ammunition. In the direction of Luhansk, militia took control of two villages - Peremozhnoe and Malonikolaevka. Ukrainian military suffered serious losses.
The Luhansk airport, which the security forces left, was completely destroyed. Only the carcass of the terminal building was left; absolutely all windows of the building were shattered. All neighboring buildings and construction, equipment, machinery were burnt. Reportedly, nearly 2,000 fighters of the National Guard of Ukraine were based at the building of the airport. Fierce fighting for the strategic site continued since July. Two days ago, Ukrainian forces left their positions and retreated.

"Security forces, possibly, have decided to concentrate on the defense of Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk Regions; or, possibly, they want to regroup forces and rearrange units, or they have become convinced altogether of the hopelessness of attacks on DPR".
"Security forces, according to reconnaissance data, have abandoned all checkpoints along the Donetsk-Mariupol road. They have fortifications intact only at the entrance to Mariupol," the reports says. "Earlier, militia dislodged security forces from Yelenovka. Security personnel then abandoned Volnovakha, as well as Maryinka and Kurakovo, south-west of Donetsk. A column of punitive troops' hardware was retreating through Kurakovo for 12 hours. In Starobeshevo District, security forces abandoned Starobeshevo, Maryanovka, Novy Svet, Styly, Novokaterinovka, Shirokoye, and Komsomolskoye".

Заявление МИД России в связи с гибелью на Украине российского журналиста А.Стенина
ReplyDeleteС глубокой болью и возмущением восприняли информацию, раскрывающую шокирующие обстоятельства гибели фотокорреспондента МИА «Россия сегодня» А.Стенина, который последний раз выходил на связь со своей редакцией 5 августа с.г.
Выражаем самые искренние и глубокие соболезнования родным и близким Андрея, сочувствие и солидарность коллективу МИА «Россия сегодня», а также всему российскому журналистскому сообществу.
Согласно обнародованным МИА «Россия сегодня» сведениям, основанным в том числе на проведенной Следственным комитетом Российской Федерации экспертизе останков А.Стенина, целый ряд признаков указывает на то, что это очередное варварское убийство – вновь дело рук украинских силовиков и «национальных гвардейцев», контролировавших, по свидетельствам очевидцев, территорию, на которой были найдены расстрелянные автомобили, включая тот, в котором было обнаружено тело А.Стенина.
Требуем от Киева проведения тщательного и непредвзятого расследования убийства А.Стенина и сурового наказания виновных. За несколько месяцев Россия потеряла на Украине четверых своих журналистов – ситуация неслыханная, в том числе по сравнению с другими кровавыми вооруженными конфликтами последних лет. Противоправная практика препятствования журналистской деятельности, в том числе через нападения, убийства и неправомерные задержания и похищения сотрудников неугодных киевским властям СМИ, должна быть незамедлительно прекращена. Ожидаем соответствующего решительного воздействия на Киев со стороны международного сообщества, в том числе США и стран Европейского союза, так пекущихся о свободе слова и СМИ в других странах и регионах мира.
Сколько еще невинных человеческих жизней должно быть принесено в жертву, чтобы Киев прекратил свою безрассудную преступную политику в отношении миллионов жителей Юго-Востока? Западные покровители должны отказаться от лицемерия и двурушничества в оценках реальной катастрофической ситуации с правами человека на Украине, руководство которой так стремится войти в «цивилизованную европейскую семью».
