Palestinian Authority summons Australian envoy over Jerusalem stance (an "unoccupied" area)

The Palestinian Authority’s Foreign Ministry on Sunday summoned Australia’s envoy in the wake of an announcement that Australia will not refer to eastern Jerusalem as “occupied.”
PA foreign minister, Riyad al-Malki, called on Australian government officials to give an “official clarification” of its position on eastern Jerusalem.[jpost.com]9/6/14

***"The PNA expresses deep concerns after the declaration of the Australian attorney general, which contradicts with the international resolutions that consider east Jerusalem an occupied Palestinian territory," said al-Malki.

He unveiled that the PNA intends to apply to the Arab League to study the new Australian position.
