"We prayed for a miracle, unfortunately a tragedy occurred," Peres said before thousands of mourners, a day after the bodies of the boys were discovered in a field northwest of Hebron.
"We will strike with a strong hand until terror is eradicated at the root," Peres vowed. "Terrorism is a boomerang," the president added, saying that acts of terror such as the kidnapping are directed at Israel, but do more harm to those who carry out the acts.

ReplyDeleteLe président palestinien Mahmoud Abbas a demandé mercredi au Premier ministre israélien Benjamin Netanyahu de condamner l'enlèvement et le meurtre d'un adolescent palestinien à Jérusalem mercredi, comme il l'avait fait lui-même pour les trois jeunes Israéliens disparus en juin.
"Je demande à Benjamin Netanyahu de condamner l'enlèvement et le meurtre de Mohammad Abou Khdeir comme nous avons condamné ceux des trois Israéliens", a déclaré M. Abbas dans un communiqué, appelant également Israël à "prendre des mesures concrètes sur le terrain pour arrêter les attaques de colons et le chaos qui résulte de ces agressions".
