«Ο Ερντογάν προς άγρα ψήφων», «Τα δύο πρόσωπα του Ερντογάν», «Όχι με την Τουρκία», είναι μερικοί από τους τίτλους που επιλέγουν σήμερα γερμανοί αρθρογράφοι για να σχολιάσουν την επίσκεψη του τούρκου πρωθυπουργού στη Γερμανία.
«Όχι χωρίς στην Τουρκία ο 21ος αιώνας»
Η Frankfurter Rundschau περιγράφει την επιδεικτικά χαλαρή στάση του Ερντογάν, τη στιγμή που η καγκελάριος στην κοινή συνέντευξη τύπου επανέλαβε ότι αντιμετωπίζει με σκεπτικισμό την ένταξη της Τουρκίας στην ΕΕ και ότι ο προενταξιακός διάλογος είναι μια διαδικασία με ανοιχτό αποτέλεσμα. Η Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung θεωρεί ότι η αυτοπεποίθηση είναι ένα χαρακτηριστικό που δεν έλλειψε ποτέ στον Ερντογάν και εξηγεί: «Ο Tούρκος πρωθυπουργός ξέρει ότι χρωστά πολλά στους οπαδούς του στην πατρίδα του και στη Γερμανία. Η φράση που επέλεξε στην ομιλία του ότι ο 21ος αιώνας είναι αδύνατον να διαμορφωθεί χωρίς την Τουρκία ήταν στο πλαίσιο του αναμενόμενου. Σκόπευε να "χαϊδέψει" την εθνική υπηρηφάνεια των Τούρκων και να φέρει ψήφους στο κόμμα του. Η φράση όμως προδίδει και κάτι άλλο για την πολιτική αντίληψη του Ερντογάν. Αναφέρθηκε μεν στο συσχετισμό δυνάμεων, αλλά όχι και στο λόγο για τον οποίο θα χρησιμοποιηθεί αυτή η δύναμη. Ο Ερντογάν χρησιμοποιεί τη λέξη ‘διαμόρφωση’, χωρίς να λέει ποιά μορφή θα πρέπει να πάρει - κατά τη γνώμη του - η Ευρώπη».
«Η ΕΕ δεν χρειάζεται αυτήν την Τουρκία»
Η εφημερίδα die Welt του Βερολίνου αναφέρει τους λόγους για τους οποίους η Τουρκία δεν πρόκειται να γίνει ποτέ μέλος της ΕΕ. «Η Τουρκία και η ΕΕ συνδέονται μεταξύ τους με ένα υπαρξιακό ψέμα» σημειώνει. «Αφορά στις διαπραγματεύσεις για την ένταξη της Τουρκίας στην ΕΕ. Οι διαπραγματεύσεις τυπικά γίνονται με ανοιχτό το αποτέλεσμα , αλλά από τη σημερινή σκοπιά η Τουρκία δεν θα ενταχθεί ποτέ για τρεις λόγους. Πρώτον, διότι πιθανή ένταξη θα έθετε σε μεγάλη δοκιμασία τις αντοχές της ΕΕ, δεύτερον, όταν τελειώσουν οι νεοωθωμανικές φαντασιώσεις τους Ερντογάν, λίγοι από την τουρκική ελίτ θα ενδιαφέρονται για την ένταξη, και τρίτον, θα πρέπει να συναινέσουν και τα 28 κράτη – μέλη της ΕΕ. Γι αυτούς τους λόγους οι δύο εταίροι, θα πρέπει να διατηρήσουν το υπαρξιακό ψέμα».
Για τον σχολιαστή της οικονομικής εφημερίδας Handelsblatt o Ερντογάν απατάται εάν θεωρεί ότι η ΕΕ χρειάζεται την Τουρκία στη σημερινή ασταθή κατάσταση που βρίσκεται. «Το γνωρίζουν καλά εκείνοι που υπεραμύνονται της ένταξης όπως ο υπουργός Εξωτερικών Φρανκ–Βάλτερ Στάινμαϊερ, ο οποίος αναλαμβάνει να συνεχίσει την άχαρη και αναξιοπρεπή παράδοση καθυστέρησης της (προενταξιακής πορείας) της Τουρκίας. Αυτός ο ρόλος που έπαιξαν στο παρελθόν με υποκρισία πάρα πολλοί Γερμανοί , φέρει τραγικά χαρακτηριστικά. Τα τελευταία χρόνια η Τουρκία έκανε στην πραγματικότητα πρόοδο στον τομέα του εκδημοκρατισμού, ο Ερντογάν όμως έσπειρε τους τελευταίους μήνες τον σπόρο της αμφιβολίας, για το κατά πόσο ανθεκτική είναι η δημοκρατική πατίνα»..........

Erdogan-Besuch: Die Lebenslüge eines Türkei-Beitritts....
ReplyDeleteDer angeblich "ergebnisoffene" Prozess zwischen Ankara und Brüssel wird niemals zur Aufnahme des Landes in die EU führen. Trotzdem ist es für beide Seiten vernünftig, an der Illusion festzuhalten.
Seine Sprüche sind markig, sein Auftreten strotzt vor Selbstbewusstsein. Dennoch: Der türkische Ministerpräsident Recep Tayyip Erdogan befindet sich bei seinem Besuch in Berlin auf dem Tiefpunkt seiner politischen Karriere. Die türkische Volkswirtschaft schwächelt dramatisch, sein Land hat im Nahen Osten, in den USA und der Europäischen Union an Ansehen verloren, die Machtbasis von Erdogans Partei AKP bröckelt und nicht zuletzt: Demokratische Grundprinzipien wie Gewaltenteilung und Rechtsstaatlichkeit scheinen in der Türkei gegenwärtig wie verkümmert.
Der Bosporus-Autokrat Erdogan ist also angeschlagen, aber die Chance, dass er in absehbarer Zukunft von der politischen Bühne verschwindet, ist dennoch gering. Die Europäische Union wird noch eine ganze Weile mit Erdogan leben müssen. Darauf sollte man sich in Brüssel einstellen.
Beide Seiten, die Türkei und die Europäische Union, sind seit 2005 durch eine grandiose politische Lebenslüge miteinander verbunden: die Verhandlungen zwischen Ankara und Brüssel über einen EU-Beitritt der Türkei. Die Gespräche werden formal als "ergebnisoffen" geführt, aber aus heutiger Sicht wird die Türkei der EU niemals beitreten. Das war nicht nur ein Tayyip Erdoğan, der am Dienstag Berlin besuchte. Er zeigte sich von zwei Seiten. Und er hatte mehr als eine Botschaft.
Morgens überraschte der türkische Premierminister mit einem Auftritt in der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Auswärtige Politik (DGAP). Erdoğan, ein brillanter, aber aggressiver Rhetoriker, war hier zurückhaltend, fast leise. Besonders in den vergangenen Monaten war er zunehmend in die Defensive geraten. Zuerst durch die Proteste, die ihren Anfang im Istanbuler Gezi-Park nahmen, und sich dann landesweit ausbreiteten. Turkey deports Azeri journalist over critical tweets...
ReplyDeleteANKARA, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- Turkish government deported on Friday Azeri journalist for "posting tweets against high-level state officials," local media reported.
The order was reportedly due to an application by the Prime Ministry's Coordination Center. Mahir Zeynalov was on a list of foreign individuals barred from entering Turkey under Law No. 5683, according to the daily Today's Zaman reported.
Zeynalov was already the target of criminal complaint filed by the Turkish prime minister for tweets he posted on Dec. 25 regarding the massive graft probe that shake-up the government.
Zeynalov is accused of "trying to portray Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan as protecting al-Qaida members" in his tweet regarding a police operation targeting al-Qaida in January, the report said.
Zeynalov has been married to a Turkish woman and has work permit valid until March 10, 2014.

Turkish paper says journalist expelled for criticizing Erdogan....
DeleteA Turkish newspaper said on Friday one of its journalists had been ordered to leave the country for criticizing Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan on Twitter, raising concerns about media freedom a day after Turkey tightened internet controls.
Today's Zaman said its online editor Mahir Zeynalov, 27, from Azerbaijan, was escorted onto a plane in Istanbul by police. The paper is close to influential US-based preacher Fethullah Gulen, locked in a feud with Erdogan revolving around a corruption scandal shaking his government.
Erdogan has cast the scandal as a bid by Gulen, who exerts extensive if covert influence in the police and judiciary, to unseat him and has responded by purging thousands of officers and more than 200 prosecutors. Gulen denies the accusation.

The European Court of Human Rights condemns Turkey over the killings of two Turkish citizens in an anti-terrorist operation in 2004......
ReplyDeleteSTRASBOURG.-The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) said Turkey violated human rights for failing to conduct an effective investigation into the deaths of two Turkish citizens in an anti-terrorist operation in 2004.
The relatives of the two dead Turkish citizens, Emine, Makbule and Resat Kaymaz, filed the case and were awarded 140,000 Euros by Turkey in accordance with the Strasbourg court's ruling on Tuesday. The plaintiffs were born in 1939, 1971 and 1980, respectively, and live in Kiziltepe, Mardin, located in southeastern Turkey.
Emine, Makbule and Resat Kaymaz accused the police of deliberately killing their relatives and criticised the Turkish authorities for failing to conduct an effective investigation into the deaths.
On Nov. 26, 2004, Resat Kaymaz filed a complaint to a Turkish criminal court against the police officers, accusing them of deliberately killing the victims.
In December 2004, an indictment was issued against four police officers for a murder, which resulted from the use of excessive force. In a 2007 verdict, the Turkish court acquitted the police officers of these charges.
The three applicants' petition to appeal the verdict was dismissed by a higher court in 2009.
