 FYROM agencies, SKOPJE (AA) - FYROM PM Nikola Gruevski stressed that the most important thing for Balkan region is peacekeeping and stability.

FYROM PM Nikola Gruevski, Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki, President of International Paneuropean Union Ala Terenoar and Doris Pack from European Parliament attended a conference on Europe Between Values and Challenges which was held Saturday in Ohrid to mark the 20th year of FYROM membership in Paneuropean Union.


"Jointly we have to work on cooperation among states and remain faithful to the idea of united Europe," said Gruevski, stressing that the best example of integration with the EU are countries of the former eastern bloc.

He mentioned that during the last few years FYROM fulfilled many reforms and the country was ready for EU membership.

"FYROM met all necessary conditions for membership in the EU and NATO. We are Europeans and Europe needs us as much as we need Europe," said FYROM PM.
