Κύπρος: Οι έρευνες του αμερικανικού ερευνητικού σκάφους «Ναυτίλος» δεν σχετίζονται με αυτές στην κυπριακή ΑΟΖ

Οι έρευνες που διεξάγει το αμερικανικό ερευνητικό σκάφος «Ναυτίλος»[1] στο υποθαλάσσιο βουνό «Ερατοσθένης», περίπου 60 μίλια από τις δυτικές ακτές της Πάφου, δεν έχουν καμία σχέση με τις έρευνες που διεξάγει η Κύπρος στην Αποκλειστική Οικονομική της Ζώνη για τα θέματα κοιτασμάτων, δήλωσε ο υπουργός Εμπορίου, Βιομηχανίας και Τουρισμού Νεοκλής Συλικιώτης.

Το αμερικανικό ερευνητικό σκάφος «Ναυτίλος» ενδεχομένως να διεξάγει έρευνες σχετικά με ουράνιο, είπε ο κ. Συλικώτης.

Ο Κύπριος υπουργός δήλωσε ότι η Κύπρος έχει συμβόλαια και προγράμματα με διάφορες εταιρείες που κάνουν τις μελέτες και παίρνουν σεισμογραφικά δεδομένα.
