Kurdistan Democratic Party Says Still Not Reached Agreements With Iraqi Gov't

Still Not Reached Agreements With Iraqi Gov't
There are still no agreements reached during the negotiations between the authorities of Iraqi Kurdistan and the Iraqi government, a representative of the Moscow office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party told Sputnik on Wednesday.

Earlier in the day, the Iraqi army joint command said that the leadership of the Kurdish autonomy had breached all the agreements previously reached with Baghdad.

"The military delegations of Iraqi and Kurdish regional governments are continuing [the talks] but no agreements have been reached … These meetings are an opportunity for both sides to exchange ideas and offer initiatives, but no decision had been made yet," the KDP representative said quoting the words of Chief of Staff of the region's Peshmerga Ministry Jabar Yawar.

The KDP also refuted the rumors about Erbil’s decision to transfer the control over some territories or border crossings to Baghdad.
