Japan backs US re-list of North Korea as state sponsor of terrorism

 Shinzo Abe
The Japanese Prime Minister Tuesday said that his government supported the decision of the United States to re-include North Korea on the list of the state sponsors of terrorism, a move aimed at putting more pressure on Pyongyang.

"I welcome and support (the designation) as it raises the pressure on North Korea," Shinzo Abe said to the press during his arrival at Kantei, the Prime Minister's official residence, hours after US President Donald Trump made the announcement.
