The European Union will allocate 1.5 million euros ($1.7 million) to support the independent mechanism operating under the auspices of the UN to facilitate investigations of the crimes, committed during the war in Syria and to bring all those responsible to justice, the EU statement said Wednesday.
According to EU High Representative Federica Mogherini, the European Union remained committed to support of the Syrian people and conflict resolution process.
