Russia, China veto UN resolution demanding Aleppo 7 day truce re-organizing the terrorists

Russia and China on Monday vetoed a UN Security Council resolution calling for a seven day ceasefire in the embattled Syrian city of Aleppo.

Venezuela also voted against the text presented by Spain, Egypt and New Zealand, while Angola abstained.

The move came as little surprise as Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov earlier appeared to suggest Moscow would use its veto to block the resolution, calling it "a provocative step".
