Bomb kills at least 10 at Pakistan shrine: officials

At least 10 people died and 30 others were injured when a bomb exploded at a Sufi shrine in southern Pakistan's Balochistan province Saturday, officials said.

"At least 10 people were killed and 30 others were wounded in a bomb blast at the shrine of Shah Noorani," local government official Javed Iqbal told AFP.

Local media put the death toll higher, at around 30, with fears that it may still rise.

The blast occurred at the remote Shah Noorani shrine, some 100 kilometers north Karachi, Pakistan's largest and most populous city.

Local television reported hundreds of people were inside the shrine at the time of the blast.

There was no immediate claim for the attack by any group.
